What to expect in 2014

I'm really excited for the year ahead, both for the Glamumous website and in our family life too. My notebook is already crammed with ideas for future posts: tips for family living, frugal lifestyle, DIY projects and more. I also hope to be able to blog about an exciting development in the next few weeks, though I'll keep that under wraps until I know for sure when it will happen...

Having made the decision to stay living in our current home, we're planning a complete renovation of our house over the next few months, and this will provide the basis for a recurring theme of posts related to DIY and the family home. I have lots to learn, particularly in regards to home renovation on a very strict budget, so I would truly appreciate any tips you would like to send my way, and of course will share the lessons and ideas I have discovered.

Final thoughts...

As 2013 came to a close, I felt a great sense of pride. My children have all achieved great things this year, and I've finally begun to feel comfortable in myself - in who I am and what I do. These past couple of months helped me realise that 2014 will be our best year yet!

I'm thrilled to have been introduced to so many new readers these past few weeks! From the bottom of my heart, I wish you all a great year ahead, and look forward to sharing great articles with you all in the months to come.
